At InNovare Law, LC we have a very different attitude about life in law, and we love being different.

We don’t believe that life is about billable hours. We believe life is about … well … life. By the way, we don’t believe in life/work balance. If you love your job and feel safe at work you don’t need to balance anything.

By now, you’ve reviewed our website and you’ve seen – “TRUST – PROTECT – EDUCATE” as our “why” and we believe that everything starts with “why.” So, first we determine if you understand a culture where trust of your teammates is more important than anything … yes we mean anything. Second, we want to know if you’ll protect your fellow team mates (it’s part of that “trust” thing) and third, whether you want to learn, grow and unselfishly share with your team mates about what you learn. At InNovare Law it’s never about you, it’s about your team.

Notice that we haven’t mentioned your law school or class rank. IQ doesn’t make you a super lawyer. We are looking for people who love, respect and trust people first. It’s better to have a great team than a team of greats.

TRUST – PROTECT – EDUCATE is also our “why” for clients. Yep, same for our clients as it is for us. We want our clients to trust us. No trust, no point in having a relationship. Earning trust is not easy. Next, we protect our clients in everything we write and do for them. Lastly, we teach our clients about what we are doing for them, and why; and then we teach them about how they can protect themselves in the future.

We are project managers not billable hour managers. We learn every day how to be better project managers and team players. It’s about measuring value, not time.

We don’t think your mind functions only if you are in the office at the same desk every day … every hour. Not that being together isn’t important. But we operate from the cloud and we think that a laptop can produce the same great work as a desk top. It’s about your talent and ability to focus, not geography.

We believe that leaders eat last and there are no exalted titles here. For law firms living in the past the title “Partner” exists only to feed someone’s ego (not to support the team).

Yes, of course we do great work. What other kind of work is there?

We prefer attorneys with at least 2 years of private practice experience and a few clients. Not quite ready for recent law grads … but coming soon.

Don’t waste your time (and ours) if you aren’t willing to make a commitment to abandoning the billable hour. We are not for everyone, and don’t want to be.

We are also open to “of counsel” relationships. So, if you are already a solo, give us a call.
